As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor access points, and assist visitors and employees with professionalism. You will communicate clearly, respond to security-related concerns, and deliver outstanding customer service while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, caring, team-focused, and integrity-driven culture.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors while carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of technology-focused facilities, office areas, loading docks, parking areas, and surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry points, visitor activity, and security-related systems in accordance with site policies, documenting observations and maintaining accurate activity reports.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
• Support a professional environment by communicating clearly with personnel and following Allied Universal and client site procedures.

Requirements

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
