As a Screener at a logistics and distribution location, you will support access control, screen personnel and visitors, and monitor entry points to help maintain a secure environment. You will remain visible, communicate professionally, use computer or tablet systems as needed, and provide customer-focused assistance. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and drivers while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Screen personnel, visitors, and/or authorized items entering designated areas in accordance with site procedures; report irregularities or prohibited items to appropriate site contacts.
• Verify identification, credentials, and access authorizations for individuals entering restricted operational areas.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of designated business areas and the perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.

Requirements

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay

$16.33 per hour

Schedule

Friday: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM; Saturday: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
