About the role
As a Patrol Professional at a government location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control, and provide outstanding customer service. Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a government services location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate personnel as directed.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and provide directions or assistance in accordance with site procedures.
- Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and shift logs, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
Requirements
- Possess a Transportation Worker Identification Credential issued by the Transportation Security Administration.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Pay
$14.50 / Hour
Schedule
- Day shift: 05:00 AM - 05:00 PM
- Saturday and Sunday availability required
