About the role
As a Security Officer Part Time TWIC Driver in Orange, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. You will conduct routine unarmed patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor access points, and assist visitors and personnel with professionalism.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and members of the public while carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities at a government services location.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points, verify authorized entry as directed, and maintain awareness of visitor activity, deliveries, and restricted areas.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established procedures and notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders.
- Document daily activities, patrols, incidents, and observations in required reports, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
Requirements
- Possess a TSA-issued Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC).
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements (C123).
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
Pay
$14.50 / hour
Schedule
- Saturday: 05:00 AM - 05:00 PM
- Sunday: 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM
