Security Officer Part Time TWIC Driver

About the role

Allied Universal® is seeking a Part‑Time Security Officer / TWIC Driver in Seattle, WA to serve and safeguard clients in retail and mall environments. The position offers a flexible schedule and the ability to claim additional shifts through the “Claim a Shift” platform.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and tenants by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe activity within the location, reporting suspicious behavior, hazards, and maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Assist with maintaining accurate activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation in accordance with site procedures.

Requirements

• Possess a TSA‑issued TWIC.
• Valid driver’s license (required for driving positions) in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years or older for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in compliance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment per state or local regulations.

Pay

$23.72 per hour.

Schedule

Daytime shifts: Friday 06:00 PM – 02:00 AM; Saturday 06:00 PM – 02:00 AM.
