Security Officer Part Time TWIC Credential Validation

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor and control access to the industrial location by verifying credentials, documenting visitor and contractor entry, and following established access‑control procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, communicating observations to appropriate site contacts and emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, operational areas, and the perimeter to help identify unauthorized activity and potential hazards.
• Maintain accurate logs, reports, and access records in accordance with site‑specific requirements and Allied Universal procedures.

Requirements

• Possess a TSA‑issued TWIC card.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 + years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Undergo a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment, subject to state and/or local laws.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.
