About the Role

As a Security Officer (Part‑Time) with Allied Universal in Alvin, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as chemical and petrochemical. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.
• Adapt to varying working environments and conditions depending on client site.

Requirements

• Possess a TSA‑issued TWIC.
• Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Pass a background investigation in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Pay

$16.50 per hour.

• Wednesday: 10:00 PM – 06:00 AM
• Thursday: 02:00 PM – 10:00 PM
