Security Officer Part Time Truck Gate

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage location.
• Respond to incidents, operational concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production, warehouse, office, parking, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify access permissions, and support visitor and/or contractor check-in processes in accordance with location requirements.
• Communicate with site contacts, supervisors, and/or first responders as needed regarding incidents, hazards, maintenance issues, and other security-related matters.

Requirements

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
