As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol in West Mifflin, PA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay

$20.95 / hour

Schedule

• Fixed shift: Wednesday 10:00 PM – 06:00 AM
• Six (6) month commitment to the assigned site and weekly shift
• Option to pick up extra shifts through our Claim-A-Shift program, allowing you to scale hours from part-time to full-time (up to 40 hours per week) as needed

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of manufacturing operations, access points, parking areas, rail or shipping areas, and the facility perimeter, reporting unusual conditions and potential hazards.
• Monitor access to the location by checking credentials, verifying visitor and contractor authorization, and maintaining required entry and exit records.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site personnel and emergency responders according to established procedures.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of patrols, incidents, access-control activities, and observed conditions, while helping to deter unauthorized access and policy violations.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
