Security Officer Part Time Site Reporting

About the role

As a Part-Time Security Officer in Spartanburg, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity. Build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. Monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, support access control, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location. Provide outstanding customer service and clear communication while supporting a welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the business, perimeter, access points, and technology-related areas; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Monitor access to the location, verify authorized entry, and report unauthorized activity or unusual conditions to appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.

Requirements

• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

$17.51 / hour

Schedule

• Saturday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sunday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
