Security Officer Part Time Reporting

About the role

As a Part-Time Security Officer in Moncks Corner, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Logistics & Distribution. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control, and provide outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, trailer yards, parking areas, entry points, and the facility perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe the movement of employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Complete required reports, maintain accurate activity logs, and communicate security-related concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age (18+ for unarmed roles).
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

$18.00 / Hour

Schedule

• Saturday: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Sunday: 06:30 AM - 03:00 PM
