Security Officer Part Time Security Patrol

About the role

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and deliveries. You will communicate clearly, respond to security-related concerns, and provide exceptional customer service while representing Allied Universal’s values of agility, reliability, teamwork, innovation, care, and integrity.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, vehicle-related issues, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of distribution areas, loading docks, trailer yards, parking areas, access points, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location, verify authorized entry as directed by site procedures, and document visitor, contractor, and vehicle activity.
• Report unusual conditions, damaged property, policy violations, and security-related concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
