Security Officer Part Time Security Patrol

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by following site-specific procedures and supporting access control activities at a manufacturing location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and report security-related concerns according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, loading docks, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials when required, and document visitor, delivery, and/or contractor activity in accordance with post orders.
• Support emergency response activities, assist with de-escalation when appropriate, and communicate clearly with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership regarding security-related events.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
