Security Officer Part Time Security Patrol

About the role

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location in Kansas City, MO, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service. This is a part-time position offering flexibility and the opportunity to build a schedule that works for you through our Claim a Shift platform.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, access points, parking areas, loading zones, and the perimeter to identify and report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, or unauthorized access.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify visitor and contractor credentials in accordance with site procedures, and document entries, exits, and incidents as required.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and notification procedures.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and communicate observations, incidents, and security-related concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay

$19.14 per hour.
