Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a food and beverage location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, and document visitor, vendor, and/or delivery activity in accordance with site access protocols.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report security-related concerns to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.
• Help to deter unauthorized access by observing activity at gates, doors, and loading areas, and communicating with staff, drivers, and/or guests regarding site rules.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, with attention to access points, restricted areas, and security-related conditions that may need follow-up.

Minimum Requirements

• The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

About the Role

This role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you. This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Schedule

Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.

Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.
