Security Officer Part Time Screening

As a Part-Time Security Officer Screening in Perrysburg, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in logistics and distribution environments. Your role will involve screening individuals and items, monitoring assigned areas, and reporting security-related concerns to support a secure, welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific screening procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Screen personnel, visitors, packages, and other authorized items entering designated areas in accordance with established procedures; report prohibited or suspicious items and activities to site leadership.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and maintain accurate visitor, delivery, and incident documentation as required by site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, communicating with appropriate personnel and emergency responders when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned interior areas, loading areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
