Apart from serving and safeguarding clients in logistics and distribution locations, you will also contribute to a culture that positively impacts the communities and customers we serve. Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and site personnel by following security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity according to site guidelines.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout loading areas, warehouse spaces, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
- Maintain a visible presence, provide clear directions to drivers and visitors, and complete required reports related to security-related incidents and patrol activities.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Skills
- Clear communication skills.
- Problem-solving abilities.
- Patrol and access control experience.
- Computer and tablet proficiency.
