Security Officer Part Time Retail

About the role
As an Unarmed Mobile Patrol Driver in Westlake Village, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Commercial Real Estate. This part-time, driving position requires a valid driver’s license. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for tenants and visitors. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate professionally, and uphold Allied Universal’s values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, caring, and integrity.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or guests by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, service requests, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of building interiors, common areas, parking facilities, exterior grounds, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the property, reporting unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
- Complete accurate reports, patrol logs, and incident documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.
Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Guard card or license is preferred.
- At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
Pay
$19.25 / hour
Schedule
- Thursday: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
- Friday: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
