Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to customers, patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Screen individuals entering the retail pharmacy location in accordance with site-specific access procedures and visitor requirements.
- Monitor entry points and report unusual activity, policy violations, and potential security-related concerns to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established procedures.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the retail location and perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by client site.
Minimum Requirements
- Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

This role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.
