Security Officer Part Time Perimeter Patrol Security Clearance

This position is a Part‑Time Unarmed Perimeter Patrol Security Officer in Arlington, VA, supporting technology, media, and telecommunications locations.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors while carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor credentials in accordance with site procedures, and report access concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, following established escalation and reporting protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift handoff communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Requirements

• 3+ years combined law enforcement, military, and/or security‑related experience or a college degree.
• Active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Guard Card/License preferred.
• State, county, or city‑issued security‑related license preferred.
• CPR Certification preferred.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles (21+ for armed roles).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Successful background investigation and drug screen as required by law.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

$26.92 per hour

Saturday: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM (Daytime)
Sunday: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM (Daytime)
