Security Officer Armed Security Clearance Perimeter Patrol Part Time

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors while carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as required by site procedures, and report access‑control irregularities to the appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner; document observations and notify emergency services and/or site leadership when appropriate.
• Carry authorized defensive equipment in accordance with Allied Universal policies, applicable laws, licensing requirements, and site post orders.

Minimum Requirements

• Armed Guard Card/License.
• Active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Handcuffing Certification (preferred).
• Pepper Spray Certification (preferred).
• At least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen as permitted by law.
• Participation in industry‑specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment, subject to state and/or local laws.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

$28.33 per hour

• Daytime – Friday: 11:59 PM – 08:00 AM
• Saturday: 11:59 PM – 08:00 AM
• Sunday: 11:59 PM – 08:00 AM
