Security Officer Part Time Security Clearance Patrol

About the role
Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a dynamic aerospace and defense location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will support a welcoming environment through strong communication and customer service while working with a team that values agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity in every interaction.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points and verify credentials, visitor logs, and/or delivery activity in accordance with site protocols for a controlled location.
- Document daily activities, incidents, and/or maintenance concerns, and report security-related issues that may impact operations or property.
Requirements
- An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
- A state, county, and/or city-issued security license is preferred.
- The ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
