Security Officer - Part Time Perimeter Patrol

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and perimeter access points, noting conditions that could help to deter unauthorized activity or disruptions.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor access as directed by site policies, and support orderly traffic flow for personnel, deliveries, and vehicles.
• Assist with incident reporting, routine inspections, and communication with site personnel regarding security-related concerns, operational issues, and/or policy-related questions.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licenses required are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
