Security Officer Part Time Patrol Technician

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a package distribution location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of shipping areas, loading docks, parking lots, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and promptly report security-related concerns.
• Document patrol activity, incidents, and unusual conditions through clear and accurate reports.

Requirements

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
