Security Officer Part Time Patrol Shift

About the role

Join Allied Universal as a Security Officer at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support daily operations through strong customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities within a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to the appropriate contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouse spaces, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, check visitor and contractor credentials, and support site access procedures for employees, vendors, and deliveries.
• Communicate with site personnel, supervisors, and/or first responders regarding security-related concerns, operational disruptions, and incidents requiring follow-up.

Requirements

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Skills

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Ability to communicate effectively with site personnel, supervisors, and first responders.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to respond calmly and problem-solve during emergencies.
• Knowledge of site-specific policies and procedures.
