About the role
Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support site operations through strong communication and customer service. This role is ideal for a dependable professional who values teamwork, acts with integrity, and brings an agile, caring approach to every shift.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to site personnel, visitors, and/or drivers by following security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing information with site contacts and/or supervisors.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the distribution location, including warehouse areas, loading zones, trailer yards, parking areas, and perimeter access points.
- Monitor entry and exit activity for employees, visitors, and/or delivery traffic, helping to deter unauthorized access and reporting unusual activity according to site procedures.
- Support loss prevention and asset protection efforts by observing facility operations, reporting damaged doors, gates, fencing, lighting, and/or other conditions that could affect security-related operations.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
