Security Officer Part Time Patrol Response

About the Role

As a Part-Time Patrol Response Security Officer in Fountain Hill, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as residential care. This role offers flexibility to build a schedule that works for you using our Claim a Shift platform. As a Patrol Officer, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for residents, visitors, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner while following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, report unusual conditions, and document incidents or observations according to location procedures.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel and emergency responders as needed, maintaining awareness of resident privacy and the residential care environment.

Requirements

• Possess at least 1 year of law enforcement experience, 2 years of security-related supervisor or manager experience, or 3 years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
