Security Officer Part Time Patrol Response

About the role

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. This is a part-time position with a flexible schedule that works for you, using our Claim a Shift platform.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed foot and/or vehicle patrols of the facility, parking areas, entry points, loading areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and help deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, verify credentials as assigned, and report access-control concerns to appropriate site contacts.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation protocols.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities accurately in required logs and reports.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay

$18.80 / hour

Schedule

• Wednesday: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Friday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Saturday: 06:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sunday: 06:00 PM - 10:00 PM
