Security Officer Part Time Patrol Response

About the role
As a Part-Time Security Officer Patrol Response in Griffin, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial. This role offers flexibility to build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. You will provide professional customer service, communicate clearly with employees and visitors, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of manufacturing operations, warehouses, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help identify unusual conditions and deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site requirements, documenting and reporting security-related concerns to appropriate personnel.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation procedures.
- Prepare clear, accurate reports of patrols, incidents, and observed conditions, and communicate relevant information during shift handoffs.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of security-related experience.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
