Security Officer Part Time Patrol Response

About the Role

This position is a part-time, enhanced patrol response role at a food and beverage processing location in Hazlehurst, MS. It is designed for individuals seeking flexible, reliable hours with the option to earn more by picking up additional shifts. The role requires a six (6) month commitment to a fixed weekly shift.

Schedule & Pay

• Pay Rate: $15.45 / Hour
• Fixed Weekly Schedule:
  • Monday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
  • Tuesday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
  • Sunday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Additional Shifts: Available to pick up through the scheduling platform.
• Hours: Part-time with ability to build up to 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security procedures and site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies calmly and according to procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, production areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter.
• Monitor and report unusual activity, hazards, access concerns, and maintenance issues.
• Accurately document patrols, incidents, and daily activities.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience required.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles (21+ for armed roles).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must pass background investigation and drug screen as permitted by law.
• Licensing may be required prior to employment depending on state/local laws.
• Valid driver's license required only for driving positions.
