Security Officer Part Time Patrol Reporting

About the role

As a Part-Time Patrol Security Officer in Three Rivers, MI, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial. This role offers flexibility to build a schedule that works for you and the opportunity to explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, parking areas, exterior grounds, access points, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, observing visitor and contractor activity, and reporting access-control concerns in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following emergency response activities and promptly notifying appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain activity logs related to patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related communications.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
