Security Officer Part Time Patrol Reporting

About the role

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and drivers. You will communicate professionally, respond to security-related concerns, and deliver dependable customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, drivers, visitors, and team members by carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies at a logistics and distribution location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of loading areas, parking lots, entry points, trailers, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity and help deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders when needed.
• Document patrols, incidents, and other security-related observations accurately and promptly in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
