Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or resident concerns in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the residential location, including common areas, entrances, exits, and perimeter spaces, to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify entry permissions when required, and communicate clearly with residents, guests, and/or delivery personnel regarding location rules and expectations.
- Aid with security-related incidents such as noise complaints, trespassing concerns, and/or after-hours access issues while maintaining a professional presence and following post orders.
Minimum Requirements
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
