Security Officer Part Time Patrol Relief

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control activities, and security-related protocols appropriate to a government location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying appropriate personnel and documenting relevant details.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, and perimeter areas to help identify and report potential concerns, policy violations, and/or maintenance issues.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials when required, and help support authorized access procedures in accordance with location guidelines.
• Prepare clear, timely reports on daily activities, incidents, and/or observations, and communicate important updates to supervisors, client representatives, and/or emergency responders as needed.

Requirements

• Have 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience, or possess a college degree.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
