Mon: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
Tue: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do

  • Provide customer service while carrying out security-related procedures, government facility policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned correctional facility areas, buildings, grounds, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access points and restricted areas, verify credentials, and report unauthorized entry attempts and/or policy violations.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following established correctional facility protocols.
  • Document patrol activity, observations, incidents, and unusual conditions, and promptly communicate concerns to designated facility personnel.

Minimum Requirements

  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Access control/badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
