Security Officer Part Time Hospital Patrol

About the role
As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, remain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this people-first role, you will support a caring environment through teamwork, integrity, and a reliable, innovative approach that makes a real difference each day.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within a healthcare location.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, corridors, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points and help control entry and exit activity in accordance with site procedures for a healthcare environment.
- Document observations, incidents, and/or notable activity and communicate with supervisors, staff, and/or emergency personnel as needed.
Requirements
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

- Wednesday: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
