Security Officer Part Time Patrol Guard

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a transportation location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, platforms, parking areas, and perimeter locations, helping to identify unauthorized activity, maintenance issues, and/or other conditions that may require attention.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials when required, and help to support orderly movement of personnel, visitors, and/or deliveries in accordance with site policies.
• Communicate with site contacts, supervisors, and/or first responders as needed regarding incidents, alarms, medical events, and other security-related matters.

Requirements

• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Ability to respond calmly to incidents and emergencies.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to conduct regular patrols and monitor entry points.
