Security Officer Part Time Patrol Examiner

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control activities, and/or emergency response actions as appropriate for the location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, restricted areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized access and support security-related operations.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and report discrepancies in accordance with site policies and post instructions.
• Support security-related protocols within an aero and defense location by maintaining situational awareness, following assigned procedures, and reporting hazards, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations.

Requirements

• CPR certification is preferred.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Minimum age requirement: 18 years for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Licenses and certifications: CPR certification is preferred, a guard card/license is preferred, and a high school diploma or equivalent is required.

Skills

• Customer service experience.
• Ability to respond calmly to incidents and emergencies.
• Knowledge of security protocols and emergency response procedures.
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain situational awareness.
