Security Officer - Part Time Patrol Examiner

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating relevant details to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, access points, exterior areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify access credentials as directed by site procedures, and report access-related concerns, suspicious behavior, and/or policy violations.
• Support day-to-day operations by maintaining a visible presence, assisting with directions and general inquiries, and completing required reports, logs, and other assigned security-related tasks.

Requirements

• Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
• At least 21 years of age.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
