  • Fri: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
  • Sat: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
  • Sun: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do

  • Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while communicating with hospital personnel and/or first responders as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe conditions that may require attention.
  • Monitor access points and help to control entry and exit activity in accordance with site procedures, while documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to supervisors and/or designated personnel.
  • Support a professional environment by providing directions, assisting with routine inquiries, and following post orders related to visitor management, patient areas, and after-hours activity.

Minimum Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
