Security Officer Part-Time Patrol Driver

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, parking areas, public spaces, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry in accordance with location protocols, offering directions and assistance while reporting suspicious or unauthorized activity.
• Support routine operations by preparing incident reports, communicating with local contacts and/or first responders, and following post orders for daily patrol activities.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
