About the role
Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and support daily operations through strong communication and customer service.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a manufacturing and industrial location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, loading and receiving zones, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points and help to verify entry and exit activity for personnel, visitors, and/or deliveries in accordance with site protocols and posted instructions.
- Report maintenance concerns, hazards, and/or policy violations observed during patrols, and support orderly operations by providing clear directions and assistance when needed.
Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Qualifications
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
