Security Officer Part Time Patrol Driver

About the role

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and deliver exceptional customer service. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and store associates by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout retail sales areas, entrances, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor for suspicious behavior, potential hazards, and policy violations, and document observations and incidents in accordance with site requirements.
• Assist with access control, crowd management, and directing customers or visitors as needed while maintaining a professional presence.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

$23.00 / Hour

Schedule

• Saturday: 10:30 AM - 11:30 PM
• Sunday: 10:30 AM - 11:30 PM
