Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control activities, and when appropriate, emergency response actions at a manufacturing and industrial location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with supervisors and/or local contacts as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, loading zones, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas, verify credentials when required, and support compliance with location rules, visitor procedures, and reporting requirements.
- Aid with incident reporting, shift logs, and pass-down communication while maintaining awareness of workplace conditions that could affect personnel, property, and/or operations.
Minimum Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
