Security Officer Part Time Patrol Driver

About the role

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, parking areas, common areas, access points, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document activities according to site procedures.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify visitor and contractor access as directed, and help maintain an orderly environment for occupants and guests.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol documentation, and communicate observations and concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

$17.51 / Hour

Schedule

• Friday: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Saturday: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Sunday: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
