As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a cultural institution, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming experience for visitors, staff, and guests. You will communicate professionally, respond to security-related concerns, and contribute through teamwork and integrity while representing Allied Universal’s caring, agile, reliable, and innovative culture.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, artists, vendors, and guests by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, visitor concerns, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of galleries, performance spaces, public areas, offices, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or facility concerns.
• Assist with access control, visitor directions, event entry procedures, and the orderly movement of guests during exhibitions, performances, and special events.
• Document observations, incidents, and completed patrols in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific reporting requirements.

Requirements

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Part‑time schedule: Wednesday 9:15 AM – 5:15 PM, Thursday 9:15 AM – 5:15 PM
