Security Officer Part Time Patrol Assessment

About the role

As a Part-Time Security Officer Patrol Assessment in Albuquerque, NM, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Retail/Malls. This role offers flexibility to build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for customers and team members.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the store, surrounding property, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Observe customer and employee activity, report suspicious behavior, policy violations, hazards, or maintenance concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
• Complete required activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with site-specific procedures.

Requirements

• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
