Security Officer Part Time Patrol Area Assessment

About the role

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a technology-focused location, you will serve and safeguard clients in the Tech/Media/Telecom industry. You will carry out site-specific procedures and security-related protocols, conduct patrols, monitor access, respond to incidents, and prepare accurate reports.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior spaces, exterior areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents and support a welcoming environment.
• Communicate professionally with employees and visitors while responding to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following emergency response procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain activity logs for patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related matters.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licenses are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Physical ability to perform patrol duties, including walking, standing, and lifting.
• Knowledge of security protocols and emergency response procedures.
