About the role

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer, you will support a government education location by conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitoring access points, assisting with badge-related activities, and providing exceptional customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors, and other members of the public while carrying out site-specific procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify authorization as directed by site policies, and document visitor, contractor, and incident information accurately.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and public emergency services when required.
• Prepare clear written reports and communicate observations, hazards, and security-related concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Requirements

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

$17.00 / Hour

Schedule

• Thursday: 11:00 AM - 07:00 PM
• Friday: 07:00 AM - 07:00 PM
