About the role

As a Security Officer Part Time Badge Verification Patrol in Ellisville, MS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency services when required.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of utility operations areas, buildings, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
  • Maintain access to the location, verify credentials as directed, and maintain accurate logs, reports, and shift documentation.
  • Observe and report unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and security-related incidents in accordance with site procedures.

Requirements

  • Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Able to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
